Welcome to the site!

Hello and if you’re reading this, welcome to the Secondhand Cycle Blog. If you weren’t already aware, Secondhand Cycle is an online market for bicycles and cycling-related gear. At the time of this writing, we have exactly zero active users on the site, but I’m hoping to look back on this post a year from now with a smile on my face because of the awesome community of cycling enthusiasts we’ve created.

My name is Ryan and I’m the creator of this place. I cycle roughly 23 miles to work each day on my trusty Trek hybrid. It has seen better days, to be sure, but still gets the job done as a solid commuter bicycle. I built Secondhand Cycle because, honestly, I’m hoping to find my next bike here. The thought of finding a great bike for a good deal, passed down from a fellow cyclist, has me excited! I promise I’m not super selfish, though…

My vision for Secondhand Cycle is to become the leading desitination on the internet for people looking for bicycles and cycling-related gear – a trusted platform where people who have bike stuff can sell to people who are looking for bike stuff. I can’t be successful without users, so I take customer service very seriously and will respond to each user who contacts me. I have a small team working with me on this site and we pride ourselves on delivering a great user experience for both buyers and sellers alike.

I’ll continue to update the platform and this blog as we get deeper into 2020 and beyond. Your feedback is important, so if you have any, please leave some for us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for reading!
